Every pouch is carefully cut panel by panel to ensure the calico pattern on the front is evenly balanced. This means it can't be mass-cut — otherwise the front might show too much white or black, which would lose the charm. The ears and tail are cotton-filled and soft to the touch — the kind you'll want to squish. The rounded body has that satisfying puffed-up shape too, but without any filling — just the result of a pattern that went through many rounds of adjustments until it felt exactly right.
