This is a bag set made from rare, handwoven cotton cloth—woven 30 to 50 years ago on home looms and naturally dyed with plants. The fabric is soft but sturdy, with visible texture and slight irregularities that speak to its origin.
Each piece is made from limited cloth. Most fabrics can only produce 1–3 sets, so no two bags will be exactly alike. What you receive is one of a kind.
The large shoulder bag is roomy and easygoing. The matching zip pouch fits inside or works on its own for travel, makeup, or small items. You can leave a note at checkout to request a custom color, and we’ll choose from the cloth we have available.
Please note: This is untreated cotton dyed with plants. Some color fading may occur when washed—this is natural.

Every piece at Made by Frey starts with thoughtful design. Many of our fabrics require cutting each panel one by one to make sure the prints and patterns line up just right. You won’t find generic templates or common factory patterns here — even the simplest pouch uses the best zippers and carefully chosen materials that elevate the whole piece.
Frey selects fabrics and hardware with a lot of intention. Most materials are premium — YKK zippers, designer prints, and hand-woven textiles that are beautiful but expensive. If it adds quality and feeling, we choose it.
Each item is handmade in small batches by Frey and a small group of women artisans — many of them moms — who sew with patience and care. We test, adjust, and refine designs based on real feedback, paying attention to the little things that make a piece feel warm, personal, and alive.
These are small treasures meant to be used and loved every day — pieces that bring quiet joy and thoughtful craftsmanship into daily life.

PACKAGING
PACKAGING
For fragile items, we use sturdy boxes for better protection. Other products are shipped in colorful bubble mailers — not the prettiest, but the most reliable for preventing loss or damage. Sometimes even small boxes are placed inside an extra mailer for added safety.
Our packaging focuses on protection over looks. At the moment, we don’t put too much cost into packaging, but we’ll keep improving it whenever we can.
