I’ve always wanted to make a dog charm — something unbelievably cute, yet with a real sense of life. My handmade cat charms worked well because fabric and stitching easily capture their expressions. But dogs are different — they have a softness and spirit that’s hard to sew into shape.
I tried many times to make one by hand, and maybe you’ve seen those early versions on my page. They were lovely, but not quite alive — something always felt missing. So, I decided to take a new approach. With a friend’s help, I worked with a small workshop to bring the Springer Spaniel to life. We spent months adjusting the fabrics, colors, and the tiniest details — even the eyes and nose went through endless tweaks until they finally had that warm, lifelike look.
At one point, I even thought about creating a new website just for plush designs. But in the end, I realized they still belong here — because the heart behind them is the same. Whether it’s a fabric cat, a cozy pouch, or this little Spaniel, they’re all part of Made by Frey — pieces made to bring warmth and a sense of comfort into everyday life.

PACKAGING
PACKAGING
For fragile items, we use sturdy shipping boxes to prevent damage. For other products, bright yellow bubble mailers are used to help reduce the risk of loss during transit. Even small boxes are often placed inside an extra yellow bubble mailer to further lower the chance of them getting lost.
Packaging is always being refined — the goal is to protect items without overpacking, keeping them safe while minimizing loss.
